1) Do you have to be a Mason or OES to obtain a license plate?

Answer: Yes, you need to be a TN Prince Hall Affiliated Mason or member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A brother or Sister can show his/her dues card at the DMV when picking up a license plate.

2) Will you be able to get yearly registration & stickers online, or will you have to go to a local clerk’s office and show your membership when renewing?

Answer: Yes, you should be able to renew online in the future.

3) Will there be one for motorcycles?

Answer: Those discussions are being worked out but are not available at this time.

4) Where is the money for the plates going?

Answer: All proceeds for this effort will go to support the Tennessee Knights of Prince Hall youth organization. This money will be used for operational purposes for our young men and boys.

5) How many plates can I order?

Answer: You can order as many plates as the vehicles you have registered for. For example: If you own 5 vehicles, you can order 5 license plates.

6) Can someone else pick up my license plate for me?

Answer: No. The person who can pick up the license plate must be the same person to whom the car title is registered.

7) Will there be license plates available for members who have handicap plates on their vehicles?

Answer: A disabled driver decal is available to people with a permanent disability who currently own or purchase a specialty plate.

8) How do I make a payment?

Answer: PayPal is set up to accept payments.
